TAFE SA is South Australia’s largest vocational education and training provider. We deliver job-focused training across a range of industries from entry-level certificates to bachelor degrees, at locations across the state.

Quality Assurance:

TAFE SA’s status as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Higher Education Provider (HEP) is managed through the National Regulators, Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). It is a requirement of registration with ASQA and TEQSA that TAFE SA demonstrates ongoing compliance with all requirements of the VET Quality Framework and the Higher Education Standards Framework. Compliance is assessed though regular audits.

ASQA has awarded TAFE SA re-registration as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) provider for a period of seven years, following implementation of extensive quality improvements across the organisation.

It is the first time that TAFE SA has received this length of registration from ASQA. As TAFE SA is also a Higher Education Provider, its CRICOS registration is also regulated by TEQSA. TEQSA has also renewed TAFE SA’s registration on CRICOS for seven years.
