The Presidential Council consists of eight SUU senior executives. These groups meet regularly to discuss the issues most important to the University and help advise the Chancellor on administrative decisions. The Board of Trustees was created by the Higher Education Act of 1969 and is an integral part of the Utah higher education system. The Board of Trustees helps facilitate communication between the institution and the community, strengthen alumni traditions and goals, select honorary degree recipients, and implement and execute fundraising and development programs.
